Why Contribute

Caravan, RV & Accommodation Industry of Australia Ltd (CRVA) is the peak industry body for the Caravanning Industry with its responsibility to promote our key tourism market to Australian holidaymakers.

  • operating and updating the industry website – www.welovethiscountry.net.au a major portal for industry information and an introduction point for consumers looking at travel or product purchase within our exciting industry;
  • underwriting and organising the annual National Conference – the only truly national industry event;
  • administering the National Accreditation program for Caravan Parks entitling successful participants to proudly display the Australian recognised Accredited Tourism Business “Green Tick”;
  • compiling the bi-monthly VIP Club “We Love this Country E-Newsletter” providing industry tips, news, contributor profiles and interesting events for consumers;
  • sampling and collation of both industry and consumer research on behalf of the Caravanning Industry;
  • production and distribution of the Industry newsletter – “Road to Success”;

crva-logoWhat is Accreditation?

Accreditation provides parks with a framework of quality business practices in the areas as Business Planning, Risk Management, Environmental Management, Human Resources Management, Marketing and Customer Service. The implementation of accreditation is a step by step process that requires parks to create an individualised operations manual that addresses all of the key business management areas.

What are the benefits?

The establishment of the quality management system improves the overall performance of your park. It identifies key areas for improvement and helps to address and implement these improvements in a logical and efficient manner.

Once accreditation is achieved your park can legally use the Tourism Tick in all promotional material. The Tourism Tick is a nationally recognised benchmark of quality tourism business performance.

Major park insurers recognise CRVA’s accreditation quality management system. They offer discounted premiums which can save your park thousands of dollars annually.

Who can provide accreditation?

Businesses can contact the CRVA National Accreditation Manager and obtain the program available on disk. They can go through the process themselves by using the self-help documents provided and send the application in direct to CRVA. There are also CRVA Approved Licencees who can assist operators with accreditation at extra cost. Contact one of these for their schedule of costs and services
